Two people were injured in a collision between two launches in Hulhumale’ lagoon last night. The accident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. when a passenger boat collided with a fishing vessel, police confirmed.
The injured individuals, who were on board the same launch, were transported to Hulhumale’ Hospital shortly after the incident. Hospital sources told Mihaaru News that the two men are in stable condition and suffered only minor injuries.
“They are not in a serious condition. We are monitoring and providing necessary treatment, including medications,” said a hospital representative. “Further evaluations, including a CT scan, will determine if there are any additional injuries.”
