Commissioner Yoosuf Maaniu Mohamed unveiled the offerings at the Customs Head Office, emphasizing their aim to enhance public accessibility and efficiency. He highlighted the company’s commitment to digitizing operations and reducing paper dependence.

These new digital tools include:

  • Online Case Declaration: Simplifies the declaration process for both imports and exports, allowing electronic submissions for faster and easier transactions.
  • Courier Cargo Management System: Enables real-time tracking of courier packages, bringing transparency and convenience for online shoppers and businesses.
  • Advanced E-Agency Permits: Businesses can now effortlessly obtain essential permits for Customs clearance online through the dedicated portal, significantly expediting the process.
  • Online Trader Statistics: Businesses gain instant access to their trade data for informed decision-making and operational improvements.

These services demonstrate the Maldives Customs Service’s dedication to modernization, streamlining processes for customers, and promoting an environmentally conscious approach.
