Applications Now Open for Maldivians at United States Airforce Academy

The United States Airforce Academy has commenced the application process for the Class of 2028, welcoming aspiring individuals from Maldives. The four-year program is set to commence in June 2024.

Requirements for Eligibility

To be eligible for the program, candidates need to have completed their A Levels or possess an equivalent level of education, including education higher than A Levels. Additionally, applicants should be single and under the age of 24. Candidates must have also taken either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing (ACT), along with meeting the physical and mental health criteria. SAT and ACT tests can be taken after submitting the application.

Course Details and Opportunities

The program offers a total of six available slots. Participants will have the chance to pursue various career paths upon completion of the course.

Career paths include Aeronautical Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Computer Science, Military Strategic Studies, Mechanical Engineering, Cyber Science, Biology, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Management, Operations Research, Philosophy, System Engineering, and Meteorology.

Notably, individuals who are selected for the program and are not currently in the police force will have the option to join the police force.

Application Process and Deadline

The deadline for submitting applications is August 31, 2023. Interested candidates can download the application form from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) website. The completed application form should be submitted to MNDF Bandaara Koshi, Male’ City.
