The 7th Edition of Maldives Marine Expo Concludes with Great Success

Maldives Marine Expo 2022 returned with its 7th edition from the 11th to the 13th of this month. The longest-running maritime event in the country, this year’s edition was held at Central Park Hulhumalé from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm each day. The Maldives Marine Expo is the official exhibition of the National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM), presented by MEDIUM Pvt Ltd as the official event organisers. The annual event is the largest marine expo held in the Maldives.

Like previous years, this year’s expo also featured many local and international exhibitors in the maritime industry. This year’s event featured a Boat and Equipment Display and panel discussions, along with an entertainment show. The expo also had a ceremony awarding the best goods and services in the industry.

A total of 67 exhibitors participated in the expo this year from a wide range of marine-related businesses including maritime and trade representatives, marine construction products, and service providers. In addition, related fields such as real estate agents, resort developers, corporations that provide telecommunications, and technology, banking, financing and insurance services were also among the exhibitors. Furthermore, several new products were also launched and displayed by marine brands at the expo. The event offered excellent opportunities for dialogue, networking, and sharing ideas among members of the industry.

This year’s event was hosted by Housing Development Corporation (HDC). The exhibitors included notable names such as Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Jalbooth, and Gulf Craft. The expo also opened up great career opportunities for youth with Jalbooth announcing internship opportunities.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, Vice President Faisal Naseem and several members of the cabinet were among the visitors to the expo.
